ついにGEのCEOジョン・フラナリーが解任されました。

General Electric Co. said it is removing Chief Executive John Flannery after about a year in the job as the conglomerate’s profit and cash-flow struggles worsen.

H. Lawrence Culp Jr. was named Mr. Flannery’s successor, becoming the company’s chairman and CEO effective immediately.

Mr. Culp, who has served as the chief executive of Danaher Corp. for 14 years, was approved to the role in a unanimous vote by the company’s board of directors.

新CEOはダナハー社（ヘルスケアセクターに所属する産業機械企業）で14年間CEOを務めた経歴を持つラリー・カルプ氏。今年２月からGEの取締役に就任しており、取締役会による全会一致でCEO就任が承認されたとのこと。
